Steven Posted 24 March 2005 Posted 24 March 2005 "Lee Morris has had a setback with his knee and we are not really sure as yet how long he is going to be out for."
fosseman Posted 24 March 2005 Posted 24 March 2005 Joking apart, that has got to be the end of LM, surely. The bloke's been a disaster from start to finish. We've never even glimpsed a modicum of performance from him. When does his contract finish?
Newcastle_Fox Posted 24 March 2005 Posted 24 March 2005 I cant say I am suprised with this news. Showed promise when he did play but he is too injury prone for this club!
Little Nicky Posted 24 March 2005 Posted 24 March 2005 A Darren Eadie but without the apparant talent I'm afraid, offload the deadwood!
Frenzied Posted 24 March 2005 Posted 24 March 2005 Feel sorry for the bloke but surely there's something wrong with how he looks after himself.
Steven Posted 24 March 2005 Author Posted 24 March 2005 Feel sorry for the bloke but surely there's something wrong with how he looks after himself. 82610 ... or physically he is just not up to it. <_<
Jonbluefox9 Posted 24 March 2005 Posted 24 March 2005 I think he's got one year left with us after this season. His legs are just buggered and I don't think he'll be able to play professional football much longer if this carries on. Both of his hamstrings have gone in the last year or so and once they've gone they can go again quite easilly.
TrickyTrev Posted 24 March 2005 Posted 24 March 2005 This is what happens when you soign injury prone players, there bodies are just not up to the rigour of professional football. Jason Wlcox is another one.
Who ate all the pies? Posted 24 March 2005 Posted 24 March 2005 I would have been more surprised if it had been "Morris Back!!!!" as it is I expected as much. See if we can sell him to Cov to help with their relegation battle!
Fox in a Box Posted 24 March 2005 Posted 24 March 2005 Who is the the club then......Ive seen him play in a CITY top
Ash Posted 24 March 2005 Posted 24 March 2005 I'm so disapointed,He has so much potential and talent.
Scow Posted 25 March 2005 Posted 25 March 2005 He might as well just focus all his efforts in to getting fit for next season now. Makes you wonder what you had to do for a 'medical' under Adams...
City Fan Posted 25 March 2005 Posted 25 March 2005 Makes you wonder what you had to do for a 'medical' under Adams... 82834 He passes everyone who can breathe and has a pulse.........
Chimp Posted 25 March 2005 Posted 25 March 2005 [..] Makes you wonder what you had to do for a 'medical' under Adams... 82834 Not to mention he'd hardly played for Derby due to long term injury, he was even injured when we bought him ffs... what an absolute waste of money.

Jonbluefox9 Posted 25 March 2005 Posted 25 March 2005 Having listened to Birch talking about Lee, I do feel for him. It sounds like everytime he thinks he's nearly there he meets another hurdle. Maybe Lee does too much too soon and doesn't leave long enough for full recovery, I don't know. What I do know from what the Birch was saying is his cartilage in one knee is in a bad mess and I'm not sure what they do to fix that?

Jonbluefox9 Posted 26 March 2005 Posted 26 March 2005 Don't they replace it with something? Wouldn't the bones start to grind on each other? I'm no doctor but I thought the cartilage was the thing that lines the bones near joints to stop them wearing away. I'll trust you on this one as you've had experience of it.
