gasman68 Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 A fan ran onto the pitch and ripped his season ticket up in front of Holloway's face. Isn't a Season ticket with one game left just a "Ticket"?
lildave3 Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 :crylaugh: Abusive PM's certainly are one way to get your point across.
Eastern Fox Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 We all know Holloway's doing a terrible job...why the new thread?
Flexx Posted 12 April 2008 Author Posted 12 April 2008 So who would you replace him with? Walsh/Taggart. Even give Dowie a go until the season ends with 3 games left, im sure he is determined to send Cov down.
Flexx Posted 12 April 2008 Author Posted 12 April 2008 :crylaugh: Abusive PM's certainly are one way to get your point across. Yeah well abuse posts get you no where. Its only my opinion, do you not listen to anyone else's opinion? Did your mum not teach you to respect people.
Leicester Lass Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Walsh/Taggart. Even give Dowie a go until the season ends with 3 games left, im sure he is determined to send Cov down.
The Reverend Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Walsh/Taggart. Even give Dowie a go until the season ends with 3 games left, im sure he is determined to send Cov down. Fcuk me, why didnt i think of that?
Jack Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Walsh/Taggart. Even give Dowie a go until the season ends with 3 games left, im sure he is determined to send Cov down. Hang on... You want to get rid of our manager for either someone that has never managed before or someone that got the sack at Cov and they're in just as much shit as us. The word "Clueless" comes to mind.
Maybes Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Yeah well abuse posts get you no where. Its only my opinion, do you not listen to anyone else's opinion?Did your mum not teach you to respect people. Says the one who has sent him an abusive PM.

The word "Clueless" comes to mind. Not long term. Only until the season ends. Have you never heard of, 'new manager syndrome'. Its desperate now, and that calls for drastic action.
Leicester Lass Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Fcuk me, why didnt i think of that? Have you ever thought we should switch the Kop and family stand?
Jack Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Not long term. Only until the season ends. Have you never heard of, 'new manager syndrome'. Its desperate now, and that calls for drastic action. So now your saying you want to unsettle the team more than they already are to bring in a new manager for 3 games and then get rid of him and unsettle the team a bit more
Flexx Posted 12 April 2008 Author Posted 12 April 2008 Says the one who has sent him an abusive PM. Yeah well have you read what he's called me in this thread. Called me a tosspot told me to fook off. Should think he would only do that on the internet though.
Eastern Fox Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Not long term. Only until the season ends. Have you never heard of, 'new manager syndrome'. Its desperate now, and that calls for drastic action. Your idea of drastic action is ensuring certain relegation. Holloway is the only person qualified to manage for the last three games. Bringing in people that have no management experience/no knowledge of the playing squad would be riduclous.
Jack Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Yeah well have you read what he's called me in this thread.Called me a tosspot told me to fook off. Should think he would only do that on the internet though. Grow up.
The Reverend Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Have you ever thought we should switch the Kop and family stand? Thats a great idea! That might create an atmosphere! I cant believe no-ones ever thought about that! Unbelievable!
SamL Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Yeah well abuse posts get you no where. Its only my opinion, do you not listen to anyone else's opinion?Did your mum not teach you to respect people. You've clearly stated your opinion so others are stating theirs. So what they don't agree with you, you don't need to throw your dummy out your pram. You've got an opinion which isn't exactly based on a lot. Basically, you sent LD3 an abusive PM because he didn't agree with you. You're pathetic, grow up.
Foxhateram Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 nope, I dont agree - there are plenty of teams in which a new manager has turned things round within a few games - what about King Kev at the Geordies - he's got his players on fire - Ollie is blatantly not good enough, neither as a motivator, nor a tactician - go away and come back when you know what you're on about Now tell me if im wrong but didnt king kev lose 7 games on the trot before that?! and now they have won a few in a row and suddenly hes hero. if he was here the trigger would have been pulled on him. King Kev out chants would circulate the ground and Milan would say thats it! Motivation is not the problem here, we created plenty of chances today, we just didnt finish them, they sounded pretty much up for the game to me. We just cant put the ball into the back of the net. Why!? Maybe because Howard doesnt know where Bell's crosses are likely to go? maybe because Oakley and Hendrie dont know where eachother are going to run? maybe because DJ doesnt know how to liase with the offside trap? Maybe because Howard is shit? (i dont think so, but maybe it is) Why didnt Fryatt finish his chance, and DJ put away those one on ones? Maybe its fate? That newcastle squad has been together for years anyway! and tbh they were actually doing alright under Allerdyce mid table? werent they? oh look now there back to where they started before they chopped Big Sam. This team has never played well under anyone. weve had three qaulity managers here and none of which have been able to make this lot Gel. Megson (now at Bolton doing an ok job in the Prem!) Burrows ( had a good record as a manager) Holloway (has a decent record but ahsnt been able to change things) The manager is not the problem, we lack togetherness and team spirit, they are individuals. i guess wel have to agree to disagree. Iv seen all this before. The team i played for year before last, lost every game of the season (luckily there was no relegation zone because it was under 16's), but as we got to know eachother we got better as time went on. The year after they won the league (i was injured all season unfortunatly, yes maybe it was because of me they lost every game that season (Y) ) Iv expressed my views, agree or disagree. thats upto you. im not looking to argue. I just think a few people round here are being very irrational in their thinking.
SamL Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Have you ever thought we should switch the Kop and family stand? How about we bring back Martin Allen while we're at it. Some bloke in E3 was actually singing for Martin Allen to come back today. The mentality of some fans is beyond belief.
Flexx Posted 12 April 2008 Author Posted 12 April 2008 So now your saying you want to unsettle the team more than they already are to bring in a new manager for 3 games and then get rid of him and unsettle the team a bit more Im not thinking about next season or the summer. I just want the team i love to stay in this division. And they will respond to a new manager. They're not listening to Ollie.

Anyone that thinks installing Walsh/Taggart/Dowie/any other second rate manager, at this moment in time would help the situation, is clearly backwards.
SamL Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Im not thinking about next season or the summer. I just want the team i love to stay in this division. And they will respond to a new manager. They're not listening to Ollie. If they're not listening to Ollie why would they listen to any other manager? We all want our team to stay in this division but sacking Ollie with 3 games to go isn't the right way to go about it. A manager needs time to settle in and put his tactics into place. This takes time which we simply don't have.
