Asha Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 Has just said on sky sports news that he will always be loyal to Bolton, and despite possible relegation would still be with the club, whatever offers come in. It's rare to see such loyalty, as clearly he's a premiership-level player.

He'll be off back to the Prem soon as its confirmed, never trust a Scouser
sdb Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 haha, slightly overrated imo and i wouldn't be totally convinced by what he says if a top half team came in for him
Jack Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 As soon as a decent prem side came in for him he would be straight off. All this talk is bollocks.
Jack Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 As well didn't he say it's an ambition of his to get an England cap ? How does he expect to achieve this by playing in the Championship.
lildave3 Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 As well didn't he say it's an ambition of his to get an England cap ? How does he expect to achieve this by playing in the Championship. I think he's realised that's not going to happen.
Jay Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 plenty of players say things like this but when push comes to shove it's usually best for the club and the player that they move in terms of wages and transfer fee. However looks like Bolton may well have a good chance of escaping now and it not being an issue
