Ozwin Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 I'm gutted. That's a shit load of points and somehow we still went down. I'm well dissapointed. On a side note, Worley looked a good'un to me. Maybe we should have got him in sooner because he looked like he was up for a scrap and seemed to know what he was doing, didn't seem nervous or anything and I think he helped us immensely today.

Yep, another season and we might not have got relegated but, when you don't beat Sheff Weds at home that's what we deserve! And Worley certainly looked good
Uncle George Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 The club need to stop going on about being a 'big club'. On the field, where it counts, we are nowhere near being a 'big club.' Get real. Getting rid of the big wage earners/couldn't give a damn brigade will be too expensive to contemplate. Get a manager in who will seriously kick some arse! Maybe a Walshie/ Ollie partnership. Passion might just return.
sainthuddy Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 could of been worse we could of gone down on 54 points if you won
Joe. Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 could of been worse we could of gone down on 54 points if you won Nah Coventry would have gone down with 53.
lildave3 Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 could of been worse we could of gone down on 54 points if you won No you couldn't because Cov would have gone down. But, what a ridiculous league that you go down on 52.

In the same way that Forest and Leeds have been.
Uncle George Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Who cares whether we are called a 'big club' or not. The fact is that we are a Division 3 club, like Hereford, Hartlepool, Bristol Rovers, Cheltenham etc etc. Belly, Howard, Hume, Hayles and McAuley have all played in the lower leagues and know what is required. The question is, will they still have the 'I'm too big to play at this level' attitude. It's pay back time and the team need to produce!
Guest ttfn Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 I wonder if a team has ever gone down with a better goal difference than -3?
