At the top, go on Game >> Car Setup

Find the engineers advice box and look at the scruffy writing. What i'd usually do is if it says Medium, stick the slider (on the car setup page) on 50. If it says high/loose/hard, stick the slider on 75. If it says low/safe/soft/short stick the slider on on 25.

So just copy the information onto the car setup page. So if the first one was medium (which is for the suspension (first two bars)) stick the two of them on 50, and so on.

When you've done all that, save it and then test it. When you've done 1 run, look down at the sliders and find the updated estimations. If it tells you to increase/decrease a slider, do it by 8. Keep doing that until you get told to do the opposite (on the same slider), and increase/decrease it by 4. Then by 2, and eventually you'll get it spot on.

If you havent got the thinker/charisma characteristic, dont put your experimentation slider at 100. You might crash and lose runs.

I've done the car set up but how do I actually a practice run? I don't appear on there

Joined a Super Aguri mid-season yesterday. I thought :'fcuk it' and I was top in practice even without my partner's setup and first for the first two qualifying sectors and then 10th!!!! for the last one! >_<
