Lillehamring Posted 8 June 2008 Posted 8 June 2008 Why would Ince's ambition make him want to move to you? You're now in a league where Leeds and Forest have spent a couple of seasons. You're not the only club down there with history and ambition and a bit of money to flash. In fact Peterborough are well off and if they came in for him i'd expect him to reject that too. peterborough = LCFC come on, mate, if you're gonna post all over our forum, at least have a bit of respect and do some research... i'm sure someone on here will be able to tell you exactly, but we have spent most of the last X number of years in the top division, peterborough? well, i suppose they do have an ice rink!

You've got a lot of history and ambition and are rightfully proud of it, but don't expect it alone to keep you up and get you promoted. We did better then anyone in our league this season without history. I'm not sure it matters to others that much.

I'm not sure it matters to others that much. absolutely right, and i don't think anyone here has suggested that - i even posted earlier that i think you will do better/beat us next season, however comparing us to peterborough. with all due respect to them, is nonsensical and won't help people take your (obviously passionate) beliefs about your club any more seriously... in fact, rereading your post - the amount of pressure on LCFC to retain their place in the 'top flight nine' last year, i believe, was actually a major part in our downfall; so, in fact, our history and 'size' actually contributed to our failure, but you wouldn't know anything about that cause, as you say yourself, you have no history

I will admit that you do have a wee bit of history-you were a originally a team frm London near the tennis courts.
Vardinhio Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Ince wont stay at Franchise any longr than he needs to, they are a stepping stone to the premiership. Franchise = joke
Guest Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Considering the way Milton Keynes was formed as one of the new towns, why is everyone so shocked that they "bought" an already established football club? BTW, hasn't the replica FA Cup trophy had to be returned?
Babylon Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Don't care about MK Dons or how they were established, got enough to worry about with our own club.
