Oyston has made a statement saying he hasn't had any contact, and wouldn't be happy about any contact he wants Grayson to stay. Despite saying last week that Oyston would not stand in his way and go as far as getting in a car with Grayson and taking him (To Arsenal...but thats never gonna happen...)

Definately his first choice judging by the fact he hasn't even bothered with a shortlist yet and just gone for talks with Ince. I really hope this happens. I'll be suprised if it does though.

That might have been Holloway's style but I doubt whether it's Ince's.

I'm sure Mandaric can offer him more money, plus I don't care whether you all agree with this but we have a better chance of promotion than you do.

In the same league as his current club, so I'd stay and look for another solid season to prove his status as a good manager. Taking the MK Dons to mid-table would be a great achievement. Leicester fans and chairman will inevitably expect a hell of a lot. If it goes a bit wrong, he's likely to be fired quickly and not given a chance to sort things out. A firing at this stage of his career would do it no favours. Blackburn - Only managed at lower league level so may not be able to cut it in the Prem straight away. Again you don't want to be fired at this stage of you're career. If I were Ince, I'd be thinking stay here this year and next year look to leave at the end of next season, or failing that wait until a job in the championship comes around, which will inevitably happen by January.

Our club has a history, doesn't embody everything that's wrong with commercialised modern football and isn't the most hated club in the country. It's definitely a step-up.

Simi Posted 6 June 2008 Posted 6 June 2008 Milan has to be careful in my opinion. Going for Ince is a big risk and it could backfire. I think it's clear that Grayson wants the job. But would he want it after being second favourite? If Ince does reject us, which I think he will. I hope we've not scared Grayson off in the process. But, if you beleive some of the quotes from Walsh, he is incredibly keen.

The second (Literally the second) I read Holloway had gone Grayson was the man I wanted, I was 100% Ince wouldn't come and i'm surprised we have got this far with Ince, Now we have got this far i'm thinking we may have a chance with Ince (i'm deluded...) and now my mind has changed to Ince being top of my list (I think). I am more confident we can get Ince now I have read it time and time again, and as I said i'm really surprised we've even got this far (i.e - Almost being granted permission to talk to him). Having said that I still don't think we will get him, leaving Grayson no.1 target for me.
