l444ry Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Thinking about this today, if one of the consortia( assuming there are consortia wanting to take over) is lead by Martin George he would know JG and iirc offered him the job when Brian Little left. There is a connection there and it could explain why JG is being touted as a possible manager.That's my theory for what it's worth. Unless Martin George has caught the Mad Mandy disease in his absence, I would think he's a bit too shrewd to appoint a manager like John Gregory.
