Daggers Posted 6 August 2008 Posted 6 August 2008 How very very wrong you are If loving you is wrong then I don't want to be right, baby.
Lovejoy Posted 6 August 2008 Posted 6 August 2008 Cameras? What a genius idea. Money well spent again!!!!!! Awesome.Football hooligans mentioned obviously, So any fan with a beer on the train to be cautioned? I think so. Waste of time and money. Why don't the Police do their job and stop the hooligans travelling. Be serious Chedley! That would mean the boys in blue couldn't flex their collective muscle at harmless individuals enjoying themselves. Just think of that...

lcfc_jme Posted 8 August 2008 Posted 8 August 2008 I think this is a splendid idea, actually. I mean, knowing trains, the Tube and buses have CCTV on clearly stops mindless thugs from commiting crimes at the minute, doesn't it? I'll most certainly feel a lot safer using East Midlands trains in the future knowing they've got CCTV cameras on them. I won't think about the fact I'm being recorded for no reason. Or the fact that I'm being spied on needlessly. Nor will I think about how much money this ridiculous move will cost people to put into place. Because it's 100% essential. And I'm not one of those yobbish terrorist-esque football types. So I have nothing to worry about. Our nanny state is not pathetic at all. Trying to wrap everybody in cotton wool isn't failing, either. It's working very well and it's brilliant. Lets face it, who cares if somebody is stabbed or beaten up on a train and dies, at least our quality CCTV systems will help us to catch the culprit(s) and give them 20 hours' community service! Great success, I think! Personally, I can't wait for my ID card, being finger-printed at a bar every time I get a drink and a Government official coming to wash my bollocks for me, because I know it's all in the name of safety, and they're just doing what's best for me; they're not spying on anybody, not at all.
