What he says. A lot of the pubs in the touristy areas state "no football shirts" but I don't think you'll be looking for the pubs (could be wrong...). Get there early, and take him to the Science Museum. Totally wrong side, but it's really interesting, and would keep an 11 yr old boy interested! If you get day tickets for the Tube, it won't cost you any more to get there, and the admission is free. If you go to the TFL website you should get the travelling time from South Kensington to Leyton.
