Well seeing as Andy reckons we'll never a finish a race I vote we just piss off down the pub when we both go out in the early laps. :P

Aww, gawd, yeah... the serenading!!! >_<

Classic case of the blind leading the blind and not really giving a fook, I reckon. Unless you're fiercely competitive?.... in which case, I'll apologise now.... :S

FORMULA FOXESTALK SEASON 9 - PREVIEW

It's a new season of formula Foxestalk....using the f107 carset. Chris Louth, driving for Toyota this season is the double champion – winning the last series by 51 points, and has been installed as the early favourite at the bookies. Back-to-back championships in pretty average cars has meant that a lot of punters see Louth taking a third as a given. Who will stop Louth dominating again?

It's thought that BMW Sauber driver Andy Hunt will be the main threat to his title. After publically stating his wishes to leave Renault and move to a German side, he has joined BMW Sauber....and in this decent car poses a significant threat to the title. It's clear from an article published recently by Hunt that he's very keen to beat Louth and relive former glory. He said "I'm the all-time best at this game, Chris has now won 2 Championships in a row, he's got 2 titles, and I've got 3. I want to make sure he doesn't win this season. That's my aim." Hunt's former Renault team-mate Paul Hills has joined him at BMW. Hills, who finished 5th last season, should again be the high-scoring team-mate Hunt needs to help aim for both the drivers and constructors titles. Winning a couple of races last season has convinced some people he can go one better this year and snatch the title.

McLaren are another contender for the title, providing the right drivers sign up. They will hoping to build on their 3rd place in the drivers championship last year. Damon Fleming, formerly of Williams, has been named team leader. In a difficult car, Fleming managed a couple of fantastic victories to show he could be a future champion. Although it's a technically very good car, will they be able to upset the favourites?

There is a lot of doubt over how much of a threat Ferrari will pose this year. After the McCaughan one-man mission of the previous season, they are aiming, maybe unrealistically, for the title with drivers Ashley Jupp, and a very Czech looking Johnny Matthews. Matthews was a very solid point scorer in the BMW last term, with 42 points. Jupp, however, is totally unproven in a better car, and after a season on his own at Red Bull, he tells us that 'he needs to prove himself now'. However, signing up for Ferrari was his 'dream' after supporting them since he were very small. Yet to win a Foxestalk race, with a best finish of only 3rd, Jupp is the reason the local punters are deciding against betting on the Italian team.

The Honda, apparently, looks in very bad shape this season. Rumours of a lot of mechanical issues and general lack of pace have not put off two very decent drivers from signing up. Martin Southam has been another very consistant driver in the past few seasons, although slightly retirement prone. Joining Southam is Fi Ridgwell, who shone in her first season in Batracer, finishing 6th with 57 points in a Toyota. Winning in her debut season has shown everyone that she could be a real future title contender. It may be a crap car, but with two quality drivers like these, does anybody really expect them to be bottom of the constructors come brazil?

The Williams looks a decent team this year also, with drivers Matt McCaughan and Alex Cook, both high scorers last season finishing 4th and 7th respectively. Driving with champion Louth last season was clearly a massive benefit for Cook, who secured many podiums and a decent championship finish. McCaughan gathered a decent amount of points 2 seasons ago, in a very average Jordan, without a team mate for most of the season. Last years solid finish for both drivers raises the question, that if Louth and Hunt etc have a shocking season, could Williams be the team to really capitalise?

It's not been confirmed yet who will partner either Fleming in the McLaren or Louth in the Toyota. But what is clear it that anyone joining these two could be in with a real chance, providing they get their strategies right. Matt Bowman and Daniel Cox are still tipped to be part of the season, but it's unclear yet which seats they will decide to take. Also, Jovan Matijas, who once missed out on the title to Louth on the final race of the season, hasn't yet confirmed whether race in what promises to be an eventful season.

To be updated.
