Les-TA-Jon Posted 8 September 2008 Posted 8 September 2008 Who else thinks that Leicester would have created (but not necessarily scored) more chances against Andorra the other night? In our current form and positive attacking attitude I think we would have had more chances than Capello's men ("men" used loosely) Obviously we have to take into account how difficult it is to play against a 1-10 formation that constantly boots it upfield, but basically what I'm saying is that I think Leicester would have played more positively. (this isn't one of the many recent "Leicester have had a few good games therefore we will be promoted" threads by the way)
Corky Posted 8 September 2008 Posted 8 September 2008 Andorra played so defensively that it wouldn't surprise you if Gary Megson was in charge
dandannieldanok Posted 8 September 2008 Posted 8 September 2008 It's difficult to judge, because Andorra would probably not park the bus so to speak as drastically as they did against England.
Guest Bilo Posted 8 September 2008 Posted 8 September 2008 Andorra played so defensively that it wouldn't surprise you if Gary Megson was in charge Agreed. 11 men behind the ball kicking lumps out of the opposition. That game just strengthened the argument for an preliminary qulaifying tournament for the likes of Andorra, San Marino, Liechtenstein etc.
Alexikokopops Posted 8 September 2008 Posted 8 September 2008 It's difficult to judge, because Andorra would probably not park the bus so to speak as drastically as they did against England. They are still a team with only one full time player.
The Reverend Posted 8 September 2008 Posted 8 September 2008 Leicester would beat Andorra, they are no more than a pub team. Why England struggle against such rank bad opposition i have no idea.
Corky Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 Leicester would beat Andorra, they are no more than a pub team. Why England struggle against such rank bad opposition i have no idea. Because they put 11 men behind the ball, making it hard for us to break them down. Or so we are told. Considering we've got "world-class" players, surely they would be clever and talented enough to find a way of breaking them down easily?
