Floating Fox Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 Double Standards Remember Crystal Palace a couple of years ago? Seriously though, that is out of order.
Joe. Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 He has released a statement this afternoon, that he was told the drink was non-alcoholic when being passed to him by a friend. Oh dear, dear me. That's seriously pathetic.
The Reverend Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 Double StandardsRemember Crystal Palace a couple of years ago? Seriously though, that is out of order. He's loaded, therefore he can do whatever the fck he wants. It's wrong, but true.
Alexikokopops Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 Double StandardsRemember Crystal Palace a couple of years ago? Seriously though, that is out of order. I was raging to my housemates about him drinking in the stands and referred to that incident.
Uncle Albert Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 Be piss funny if Mandaric was in the stand at an away game downing a pint.
Floating Fox Posted 9 September 2008 Author Posted 9 September 2008 I was raging to my housemates about him drinking in the stands and referred to that incident. It was actually quite funny how that steward reacted to you trying to take a pint in. He leapt into overdrive! Didn't see them doing that with the Geordie...
Jon the Hat Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Ah storm in a teacup. He owns the club. Are you going to ban him for a having a pint on a Thursday afternoon?
Alexikokopops Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Ah storm in a teacup. He owns the club. Are you going to ban him for a having a pint on a Thursday afternoon? From his point of view though if he wants to sit with the crowd and act like one of the fans then it's a bit hypocritical for him to then act above the law and drink a pint under the premise of "I'm the owner, I'm can get away with things like this"
Lillehamring Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Ah storm in a teacup. He owns the club. Are you going to ban him for a having a pint on a Thursday afternoon? so, based on that, i can kill people as long as i do it in my garden it's a stupid law introduced like so many other knee-jerk reactions to try to solve some other problem.... if it's such an excusable thing for him to do, a storm in a tea cup, if you will, then surely it stands that it is a harmless occupation for anyone to do - i wonder if it sets a precedent, and more people will be able to use ignorance to bluff their way out of similar situations - probably not
