fiery fox Posted 11 April 2005 Posted 11 April 2005 For me i think Connolly needs some real competition up top and though it is hard to get affordable quality, he needs to be pushed and even though he has been ok recently its a little too late this year. Should he be given the chance again next year to be the leagues top scorer i thought he would be this year? For me he has had a few too many abject performances to earn his spot but will he get another chance? should we offload him? talk to me!
kenny Posted 11 April 2005 Posted 11 April 2005 I really feel sorry for him, he needs a real strike partner for a period of games. He's had a whole season of nothing but scowcroft, dublin and de vries and it has totally ruined him as a player, (confidence wise), he really needs someone to play with. If we had Deane as he was last time we were in the championship then connelly would have a completely different player this year.
