Sooper Steve's shin Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 I'd guess big wage earners - Howard, Oakley, N'Gotty, DJ, Clemence, Dickov, maybe Kisnorbo - must have been signed on £5k a week as they all came when we were in the Championship (except Dickov). Or is that too much? On that basis (excluding any built-in reductions for relegation), it would be £260k a year for each of them so nearly £2 million annually on those players alone. Henderson and Weso got new contracts last year I think, King and Gradel did this year so they won't be doing too badly I guess (although I'd imagine King/Gradel would still be getting less than most of the first team). The above is all based on no real evidence either way, though, so I could be (and probably am) way off.
