Corky Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 Muzzy has to be the stand out one. Absolute class, joy to watch.
Narborough Bod Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 Along with Nicky Summerbee but they both got contracts technically and he started on loan from Blackburn i think. He's a coach at Fulham now i think. Are you sure he wasn't just on a free that year??? Anyway, he did play for us on loan about 4 seasons before, under O'Neill (??), played in 1 league cup game (2000 - 01), we were shite, lost and he didn't play for us again that season. Palace at home - 0-3.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 Being from the South West I can think of many occasions when one of the two bristol clubs have signed a player following a succesful loan or trial - who turned out to be durge. But names don't come to mind. The problem with thinking of someone for leicester is this catorgory is that there's been so many bad players its difficult to remember which ones came on loan first!!! I remember Stan the Man was on a pay as you play contract, scored a few and felt it was right to then go and ask for more money! Was Lee Marshall an original loanee? He was poo!
