The People's Hero Posted 17 October 2008 Posted 17 October 2008 So what actually IS the job situ at the moment mate? You should go in to insurance.
Tabou Posted 17 October 2008 Posted 17 October 2008 So what actually IS the job situ at the moment mate? You should go in to insurance. I'm now self employed (without my consent, I may add...) I have 3x Job interviews next week in different industries. If the insurance industry would like to pay me alot of £££'s and give me a 9-5pm job in/very close to Leicester, I will consider. I have decided to marry a rich old man/woman. Thus never having to work.
The People's Hero Posted 17 October 2008 Author Posted 17 October 2008 If you have a bunch of insurance jobs paying big money in Lie Cester, let me know.
Tabou Posted 17 October 2008 Posted 17 October 2008 If you have a bunch of insurance jobs paying big money in Lie Cester, let me know. I am SO interested. Edit: This isn't sarcasm, I realy really am!
The People's Hero Posted 17 October 2008 Author Posted 17 October 2008 I don't have a clue what you're talking about now.
Tabou Posted 17 October 2008 Posted 17 October 2008 I don't have a clue what you're talking about now. Ahhh HHAA! I misread that. I thought you said YOU had some. I don't. Come and work in reruitment/headhunting with me! Apparently it's big bucks...
The People's Hero Posted 17 October 2008 Author Posted 17 October 2008 Yeah, there is money to be made if you're good at it. Shame a few things happened as they did over the past few years with regards to an ex-poster on here. He was in to that in a big way.
Alexikokopops Posted 17 October 2008 Posted 17 October 2008 Ahhh HHAA!I misread that. I thought you said YOU had some. I don't. Come and work in reruitment/headhunting with me! Apparently it's big bucks... My mate's doing that at the moment. He hates it. He thinks the people he works with are dicks, he's in the office from 8am-8pm and has zero job satisfaction.
The People's Hero Posted 17 October 2008 Author Posted 17 October 2008 That's exactly what my mates who do it say. It's possible to make good money if you work long and hard though. Not really my bag.

He thinks the people he works with are dicks, he's in the office from 8am-8pm and has zero job satisfaction. Same as my job now then. Although working nearer to home would make this worthwhile.
Alexikokopops Posted 17 October 2008 Posted 17 October 2008 That's exactly what my mates who do it say. It's possible to make good money if you work long and hard though. Not really my bag. Oh yeah, a lot of the people who he works with are minted, you just have to spend 12 hours a day working.

Guest Posted 17 October 2008 Posted 17 October 2008 I went and visited his plaque before the Lincoln game, then felt guilty about not taking any flowers. Then I remembered he probably wouldn't like flowers, and would have preferred a beer and a chicken balti pie instead, and stopped feeling guilty.
The People's Hero Posted 17 October 2008 Author Posted 17 October 2008 I would like to go, next time I get up for the weekend. Perhaps during your Singstar weekend (Imminent?)
Guest Posted 17 October 2008 Posted 17 October 2008 I would like to go, next time I get up for the weekend.Perhaps during your Singstar weekend (Imminent?) Er, yeah.... Hang on, weekend? I thought it was just going to be the one night........
Tabou Posted 17 October 2008 Posted 17 October 2008 Er, yeah....Hang on, weekend? I thought it was just going to be the one night........ I love weekends. I have celebrated the fact it is nearly the weekend by downing tools (laptop) and picking them back up again, to come on here. I have also just had my Friday Maccy D's. I had some sexual contact this morning, and now just need some beer tonight to make this weekend a good'un. Oh and City winning.
