Kilworthfox Posted 11 November 2008 Posted 11 November 2008 Why is it that when ever a supporter has a negitive opinion of a player or something happening at the club the radio presenters seem to decide that you are wrong and ridicuolous for even having a negitive opinion of LCFC at present. It really is peeing on my cornflakes this high & mighty superiour opinion belief and their ability to denounce supporters opinions. If someone feels that Howard is crap they should be allowed to say so and why, It's the BBC FFS! Impartial anyone? Although I disagree as i feel Howard makes a valuable contribution, I still believe people have the right to voice their opinions (even if silly) on the radio which comes from taxpayers money. BBC Especially Stringer! The Love in was crap last night, it had no bite to the programme, every one thinks LCFC is great! Wooo hurray for Milan, i bet they are glad some of the people on here with valid negative points did not turn up or wish to go.

I very rarely listen to any of it for the reasons you outlined - but I did think Stringer be an improvement given the lows to which the show had already sunk. Typical BBC mind. Everyone equal but some are more equal than others, which figures. The approach should be simple. Let the fans air their views with the host putting questions to them to see if they've thought their argument through and if it stands up. It's not supposed to be a forum for the presenter's own views or for buttering up to the club. It's a soapbox for the fans.

step Posted 11 November 2008 Posted 11 November 2008 Has it occured to you that maybe they have the best intrests of the club at heart, and that all the negativness has a detrimental effect on the players. Not that I expect you to understand that and probably dont care about it either. Stop effing moaning and get on with SUPPORTING the club. Notice the emphasis on supporting. Hint, Hint.

Just proof if needed that the majority of people on here arnt happy unless there moaning,we even have to have a post as to question why people arnt moaning? What a joke.
Lovejoy Posted 11 November 2008 Posted 11 November 2008 I think it's a toughie tbh, as an awful lot of our fans are as thick as a brick . Personally if Iwant to raise a point concerning LCFC, I wouldn't ring up Radio Lestoh, but discuss it on here instead .
CosbehFox Posted 11 November 2008 Posted 11 November 2008 Any local radio show will always be in support of the club. Any hiccup and City would threaten to sell the rights elsewhere ala Leeds United and Radio Yorkshire. No doubt BBC Radio Leicester would never get the numbers again without it's sports coverage.
