ivarti Posted 13 November 2008 Posted 13 November 2008 Leicester have over the years had some great stars at the club that never was noticed much for their period at Leicester, for more http://norfox.net/guys.htm
JakeShingler Posted 13 November 2008 Posted 13 November 2008 Cheers for that Some great players there.
Jay Posted 13 November 2008 Posted 13 November 2008 The Cunning fox was a quality site glad to see it back imo it was the best site around for Leicester facts and so on. the transfer tracker they used to have was great
Fez of Mahrez Posted 13 November 2008 Posted 13 November 2008 The Cunning fox was a quality site glad to see it back imo it was the best site around for Leicester facts and so on. the transfer tracker they used to have was great Cracked me up, I remember when they were banging on about us signing Javier Chevanton for no particular reason. It was when he was tearing it up for Lecce in Serie A and bizarrely he opted to sign for Monaco instead of us.

Brainy Posted 13 November 2008 Posted 13 November 2008 it was but didn't it also make it into the daily star? The Daily Star probably take their rumours from that site.
Corky Posted 13 November 2008 Posted 13 November 2008 Sorry, Wise was never a great player. Just a shorter version of Vinnie Jones who was made to look effective by Zola next to him.
carterfox90 Posted 14 November 2008 Posted 14 November 2008 the collymore / heskey combonation could have been awsome look what they did to sunderland in their one & only game together
JakeShingler Posted 14 November 2008 Posted 14 November 2008 the collymore / heskey combonation could have been awsome look what they did to sunderland in their one & only game together Colymore Hat-trick Heskey with a couple of assists those were the days eh.
Corky Posted 14 November 2008 Posted 14 November 2008 the collymore / heskey combonation could have been awsome look what they did to sunderland in their one & only game together What a match. Absolutely loved it. Collymore and Heskey were fantastic, and Lennon had a blinder. I missed Emile's last goal for the club, I was in the toilet at the time <_<
carterfox90 Posted 14 November 2008 Posted 14 November 2008 was a great game nearly as good as the arsenal 3-3 at filbert street berkamp hat-trick & walshie getting the 95th minute equaliser simply magic times ah well nice to dream :scarf:
Munzie Posted 14 November 2008 Posted 14 November 2008 Hossein Kaebi The hype he received when we signed him was blown out of all proportions. Our transfer coup! An international player snatched from the grubby paws of Tottenham, Wigan etc. We all held our breath when he appeared on the touch line, warming up during our home tie against Watford. The substitution was made and on he trots... Then, the reality dawned. He was dwarfed in height by his fellow players and no matter how much he tried to get stuck in to tackles, his four stone build was as effective as Kate Moss taking on Triple H for the WWE crown.
Hackneyisblue Posted 14 November 2008 Posted 14 November 2008 Freund & Stan are the only two out of that line-up that count as good players. What about Banks, Shilton, Weller, Worthington, Whitworth, Lineker all of whom are players that played for England and would be recognised as 'greats' by real football fans. Well Whitworth may not be remembered but the rest certainly stand out from the dross in that list. These are just the ones that I thought of straight away, I'm pretty sure that someone could come up wuth 2 full sides before picking anyone from that list.
Thracian Posted 14 November 2008 Posted 14 November 2008 Hossein Kaebi Then, the reality dawned. He was dwarfed in height by his fellow players and no matter how much he tried to get stuck in to tackles, his four stone build was as effective as Kate Moss taking on Triple H for the WWE crown. Which had all long been apparent to anyone who watched the reserves, apart from our manager.
