JoeyB Posted 16 November 2008 Posted 16 November 2008 Just think how much fun you would have watching them play live.... Hull City were at the walkers last season
Simi Posted 16 November 2008 Posted 16 November 2008 As mentioned, Vassel is dog. City need a target man in January or nothing will change for them at all. Robinho isn't interested away from home and Hughes attempt at giving him the armband failed miserably I thought. Hull looked good early on but faded as the game passed, seems their bubble has burst as I predicted.

Simi Posted 16 November 2008 Posted 16 November 2008 Jo certainly isn't the player I expected him to be. Hasn't got the strength or the inteligence to lead the line when players like Robinho and Wright-Phillips go missing. When he came on today he looked completely lost. Hasn't got an ounce of confidence either. Perhaps a couple of goals might change that, but I don't think Hughes has got the time to wait for that.

Change of formation maybe? On a sidenote, what's happened to Elano, Johnson, Hamann? All injured?
Simi Posted 16 November 2008 Posted 16 November 2008 Change of formation maybe? On a sidenote, what's happened to Elano, Johnson, Hamann? All injured? Perhaps, but how do you go about fitting in Robinho, Wright-Phillips and Ireland into a different formation? There is no way he'll be dropping them anytime soon. Elano is being kept out by Ireland I guess. Johnson has injury problems and I can't see why Hamann would be selected over Kompany.

Alexikokopops Posted 17 November 2008 Posted 17 November 2008 Change of formation maybe? On a sidenote, what's happened to Elano, Johnson, Hamann? All injured? Elano has been linked to QPR according to today's BBC Gossip Column!
Tilley Posted 17 November 2008 Author Posted 17 November 2008 Elano has been linked to QPR according to today's BBC Gossip Column! Who writes this crap?
Alexikokopops Posted 17 November 2008 Posted 17 November 2008 Who writes this crap? The Daily Mirror. Bloody ridiculous isn't it?
Fox92 Posted 18 November 2008 Posted 18 November 2008 Feel sorry for Hart, having just got his chance in the England squad. Don't know how serious it is though. I have been very impressed with S. Ireland as well this season. Never really liked him ... but I love him now.
