Danny Wilson leaves Hartlepool United.

As of today, Danny Wilson has left the services of Hartlepool United Football Club.

Chris Turner will be in temporary charge of First Team affairs as well as carrying out his duties as Director of Sport.

The Club would like to thank Danny for the hard work he has put in during his time at Victoria Park and wish him all the best for the future.

There will be no further comment from the Club.

I like Wilson and thought he was doing OK.

He's done a fine job there, stabilised them in the league and was maybe a victim of his own success after doing so well before now. Still 13th isn't bad for a club of their size - probably something going on behind the scenes as DB11 says.

I always thought he would go on to be a decent manager at the top level.
