dandannieldanok Posted 4 January 2009 Posted 4 January 2009 Taylor's too good, when on top of his game no-one in the world will beat him. Unfortunately for everyone else Taylor's nearly always 100%. Anyway, time for a week of the BDO and more competitive darts, Hankey and Robson were on it today.

Barney's average would usually be enough to have won most finals, but he was ruthlessly punished for some weak finishing. Overall, though, it's been another cracking tournament, with some quality matches and a superb atmosphere. The BDO championship on BBC suffers quite badly in comparison. It's like comparing the Championship to the Champions League.

I can almost guarantee the BDO final will be more engaging and entertaining than the PDC final was. Granted, the averages will be lower but with Taylor so imperious, the PDC final was uncompetitive and boring.

That's something the BDO just cannot compete with and they never will. Let's face it, I doubt many average darts fans chose the BDO over PDC.

Uncle Albert Posted 6 January 2009 Author Posted 6 January 2009 Fitton and Robson are my favourite's in the BDO both class characters and are wasted in the BDO. Fitton was averaging pretty high tonight and so was 'The Dreamboy' Gary Anderson who averaged 103.something which is very good for BDO. Made me laugh after Fitton's match some fans tried to get 'Only one Darrel Fitton' started, was never going to get loud in the second round.

Hope he goes out he is such a dick. Should of made the step up to PDC a while ago but now he would get dicked on by the likes of Terry Jenkins let alone Taylor, Barney and Wade.
