Anish Posted 17 January 2009 Posted 17 January 2009 Everybody who has reviewed the film has slated it, so I was surprised when the first few posts on this thread said it was his best film. I'm a big Will Smith fan and I will watch it, but hope it's not as bad as the reviews suggest. As for the Pursuit of Happyness, the family were really struggling - it wasn't a case of being able to be happy the way they were. Smith's character couldn't sell any of his medical machines which is why his wife left him, so he had to try something different to get his life back on track.
