Thanks to E-music I picked up Oxygene and Equinox for essentially a couple of quid. I used to have these on vinyl, but they must have got put away somewhere dark and remote as my musical taste developed. However I just realised that the man is a genius! I wonder how many electronica musicians have been influenced by the little Frenchman over all these years.

Am I alone on this one? Have I gone mad? Should this be classed as a "guilty pleasure"?

Oxygen number 4 is exceptional . I think it's number 4 anyway.

Definitely not! I remember I played some M83 for my dad a few months ago after being introduced to them here, and he basically said it was a poor man's JMJ. I had to agree with him.
