StanSP Posted 11 February 2009 Posted 11 February 2009 Currently studying this for English Lang/Lit in Year 13. Has anyone else read this book?? If so, my task is to take a deceased great figure from recent times and basically mimic Geoffrey in his pursuit of Flaubert. I chose Heath Ledger. So basically my task to write 3 sides about my pursuit of Heath Ledger. Any tips on what I could write about (apart from his death, already written about that.) Thanks for any help!
welck12 Posted 11 February 2009 Posted 11 February 2009 If i remember rightly didnt the book sort of run off onto side stories as well that kinda related to it as well? If so you could always side track it to talk about his daughter, his parents, upbringing (dont know much about him really) any other sort of things like that which would have influenced his life in a significant way. Sure if you found a decent bio of him you could find the key moments/elements from his life

So I've followed that using philosophical quotes and quotes from Heath Ledger. Also gonna talk about his love intererst (Naomi Watts and Michelle Williams) as well as close friend Mary-Kate Olsen
welck12 Posted 11 February 2009 Posted 11 February 2009 Try and throw in any sort of things he did/quotes that seem symbolic in anyway; esp anything linking to his later life (after birth of daughter) or death, always good for few brownie points
StanSP Posted 11 February 2009 Author Posted 11 February 2009 Hasn't he just gone to Real Madrid? There's always one

He clearly didn’t play it safe at approximately 2.37am on January 2008, when he swallowed the three-dimensional circular tablets, mixed with other influences, mainly more drugs. He clearly grew, especially onto other people.

StanSP Posted 12 February 2009 Author Posted 12 February 2009 Oh theres a reason for that. Takes ages to explain and I can't really be bothered
