I must be a bit stupid cos I find it hard to understand certain words or phrases

I have just this minute ran out of whisky. Not a good feeling. I have two cans of Stella in fridge but I only normally drink beer or lager at football. Whisky and Martell or Courvoissier for me at home, it's the shit. Proper buzz!
