Gudjonsson's future

Anyone else think he might be on his way out after being left out against Cardiff and Derby? Levein knew we had to get a result out of one of these two matches and he obviously felt we'd be better equipped to do that without Joey. I realise Nalis is probably back off to France in the summer but with Kisnorbo coming in and Levein looking to shake things up, could be curtains for the little man?

i hope so, he's not very good really

Plus with yongsters like Dawson coming through who can do as good a job if not better (although granted thats yet to be proven) I think he'll be off.

I don't think we missed him, to be honest.

I have not been too impressed with him to be honest, if we can get any money for him, then get rid I think.

I don't particularly rate him. He can be a liability on occasions with his woeful distribution and rash tackling. He's not consistent either. I can't remember where he's put a run of games together where he's played consistently well.

He would be a useful squad player, but with the wages he's on, probably best to get rid.

Yeah but what sort of team will want him? or one that will pay any money for him?

I'd like to see Kisnorbo in action first before I judge whether Gudjonsson should be allowed to leave. I don't rate Gudjonsson very highly (but admit he has had a few good performances scattered through the season) but I don't think we'd get any sort of fee for him if we did let him go.

I'd much rather have Nalis in the team ahead of Gudjonsson.

Oh, and another thing - he might look like a dwarf on the pitch, but having seen him 'up close' before the game yesterday, he's actually the same size as me! :o
