Cat Burger Posted 30 April 2005 Posted 30 April 2005 My first memory was being put in this Shirt and it being itchy so I never wore it. I regret it now, I wish I'd have kept it.
Cobbo Posted 30 April 2005 Posted 30 April 2005 My first memory was being put in this Shirt and it being itchy so I never wore it. I regret it now, I wish I'd have kept it. 101049[/snapback] I still have that one Doesn't quite fit. My first proper memory would be Tony James' winner vs Oxford, although I wasn't there
Burleyfox Posted 30 April 2005 Posted 30 April 2005 Very distant memory of my dad taking me to a match (kate 50's) vs Blackpool- in truth all I can remember now is the tangerine shirts. My dad's got a lot to answer for - 50 years of (mostly) suffering!!!

TAFKA Castroneves Posted 30 April 2005 Posted 30 April 2005 My first true memory was the League Cup final in '97 against Boro at Wembley. My dad took me to see Leicester for the first time like how his dad took him to see games when he was young. I was 10 and it was an awesome day. When Heskey knocked home that last minute equalizer in extra time it was such an amazing feeling.
Bilko Posted 1 May 2005 Posted 1 May 2005 One for the older generation...my first game was v. Newcastle in 68/69 (i think). We won 2-1 with goals from Rodney Fern and Allan Clarke. In truth all l can remember being about 7 at the time was the colour. Nick Hornby reminded me of this in his book when he spoke about the grass and the shirts...l remember the blue of Leicester and the black and white of Newcastle...as for the grass...well it was the 60's and l may have been inhaling whatever the long hairs around me were smoking!
