Random Burglar Posted 29 April 2005 Posted 29 April 2005 Went past the walkers toay on my yearly trip to the gym, one hell of a queue outsie the ticket office, i couldnt believe it. Went into jjb yesterday and love the new shirt, going to get it next time i get paid!!!
FNQ Posted 29 April 2005 Posted 29 April 2005 Well done City fans! Do you think we could get 15,000 ST holders again despite having to watch crap all season? That would be some achievment.
Matt Posted 29 April 2005 Posted 29 April 2005 Amazing what 1 match can do eh?? One win...Although we played brilliant, and all the fans are flocking back to get there discount...Were all these fans getting there ST yesterday because we played well and won on Tuesday or is it just coincidence they all turned up on the one day? I went over around 4.45/5pm yesterday after work to get my shirt, the que for ST's was pretty big.
King Kyle lcfc Posted 29 April 2005 Posted 29 April 2005 i got my shirt through the post on wed and queded for an hour and a half yesterday to renew my season ticket. Nothin to do with the derby result i would have renewed it if we had lost 4-0 on tues
Matt Posted 29 April 2005 Posted 29 April 2005 I renewed mine the day they went on sale...no que, straight in the Ticket Office, straight out! Wasn't in ther 5 minutes I would say!
Jonbluefox9 Posted 29 April 2005 Posted 29 April 2005 I'm getting my season ticket on Saturday but that's not because we beat Derby. I was going to buy mine before the Derby game but I didn't get there in enough time. Anyway, I don't blame people for buying them after we beat Derby because they want to see something for their money and that game showed us that we may get some entertainment next season. I know a few people that are waiting to see how we do for the first half of the season before buying a half season ticket around Christmas.
Chimp Posted 29 April 2005 Posted 29 April 2005 I'm renewing my ST on Saturday, I would have got it sooner but had to wait till end of month till I got paid... the Derby performance (although I missed it ) just confirmed what I'd suspected the team were building toward.
Little Nicky Posted 29 April 2005 Posted 29 April 2005 Been working in the ticket office all week, and I've got to say, today was absolutely barmy! I would advise that if you're planning to buy your season ticket or even plan to go in for match tickets tomorrow that you seriously consider emailing the club, don't ring, expect to wait for upto an hour on hold on a premium rate line! I was told also that if you are paying by cheque/have all your credit card details enclosed and have all your details written down on a renewal form u can hand that in at reception and they'll sort it from there, instead of waiting in a queue, and the season ticket will be sent to your address! Just to let you all know, that when I left at 5.30, we'd sold over 8.500 season tickets , top work!

One main observation is that fans get to the window, having queued for a while & are then totally unprepared which causes longer queues. So anybody going tomorrow please pre-write your forms & have everything ready for payment by the time you get to the front of the queue, it wil be better for all concerned
Jonbluefox9 Posted 29 April 2005 Posted 29 April 2005 Part of the application form isn't very clear though. I'm renewing but in a different area so what do I put in the seating details section? I know the exact row, block and seat I want but I need to find out if it's available which I can only do once I get there tomorrow morning. I hope it goes smoothly.

I'll make you a new one next time I get a chance. Just let me know what you want!
Chimp Posted 30 April 2005 Posted 30 April 2005 Phew... just made it, I got my ticket at 5:45pm this afternoon. Got a new shirt as well. I asked the people behind the counter and they said they'd sold just over 10,000 season tickets so far.
Jonbluefox9 Posted 30 April 2005 Posted 30 April 2005 Got mine around 12 PM. Only had to wait 40 mins but the queue was starting to stretch much further back as we got towards 1. Had a look at the new shirt but haven't bought it yet. It looks good but the fox on the badge is made of felt! I prefer it stitched on but those days are behind us now I guess.
