Monk Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 As much as I despise Millwall (and I really f**king hate the eel eating pond-life ******), I think I'd rather they went up. And this is for two simple reasons: it's a piece of piss for me to get there and it's such a laugh taking the piss out of the half-witted tossers. Alright Frenzied You live even closer to Millwall that I do I think. Might be running down your way this weekend.
Craig Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 I'm sure Dons took about 30k to Wembley for the JPT. And i dare say it'l be near on impossible to get a ticket in the Millwall end due to their ticket selling procedures.
flanimal Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 To be fair, I don't really care who wins. My heart is with Scunny, head says MK deserve to go up, and as for Millwall, you're right, if is fun taking the piss out of the supporters!
carterfox90 Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 what a great end to a season we are up & scummy leeds are still rotting in div 3 :crylaugh: :crylaugh: perfect end to a great season i is f#cking fantastic being a city fan

James. Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 Millwall are a nothing tinpot club who are only known for their notorious violence. They can rot in League 1 forever. Leeds, meh, cry me a fucking river. MK Dons, anybody who takes 591 away fans for a play off semi final game deserves fuck all. Plastic club, plastic fans. Scunny it is then. Summed up perfectly.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 I've got a lot of respect for Millwall literally as a football team. You will very, very rarely see a team work as hard as they did last night. It reminded me of when we played Villa in the League Cup at the Walkers a few years ago, when Stearman and Wesolowski played in central midfield. And I enjoy any London away game really. Obviously their fans are horrible c*nts but every single part of Millwall FC is preferable to Franchise every day of the week.
Sparky Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 Millwall were as dogged as they come last night , i know a lot of people go on about the beautiful game etc but i love those sort of performances that Millwall put in last night and for that reason i do hope they come up

Their fans may be complete and utter cocknoses, but at least they can create an atmosphere and are easy to laugh at when we're beating them. London away games are always quality too.

As long as their backs deserve to be to the wall and the players didn't cost ££££££££million (i.e. the difference - despite them both being semi-final second legs - between Chelsea playing at home and Millwall playing away)

Cant stand London away games on the whole..... too much traffic, no where to bloody park and Millwall is a feckin joke having to wait around for hours til they clear away all their thugs. Dont even get me started on Palace away Id rather go to MK or Scunny anyday
flanimal Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 Millwall played brilliantly last night. Really professional. The guy in midfield (think he was the guy that scored) had a great game. They made the so-called highly rated Delph and Beckford look very average. Becchio was their best player, for shits sake! The same Becchio that spend most of his time at the Walkers falling over air and grass.

Only takes an hour to St. Pancras, not all that dear, good tube links to most grounds and plenty of pubs in the Smoke. Lovely.

Was bloody extortionate last time I looked anyway I prefer to drive coz I have to take at least one child with me - just havent been driving this season.

Millwall were under the cosh for big periods of the game and the 2 centre half were absolutley immense , Whitbread looked dead for 2 minutes then moments laters hes heading balls away again.

Am I the only person who cannot believe for a second that Beckford, Delph and Becchio would be anything like as 'highly rated' if they played for a smaller club? Simon Cox is a far better player than all of them yet receives a fraction of the press attention. Methinks the media hasn't quite got their heads round the fact that Leeds are a mediocre club these days.

I was in awe. The spirit of Terry Butcher, that was. He really is a cracking player who should not be playing League One next year regardless of whether Millwall win at Wembley.
Sparky Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 London away games are quality although last time we went Palace Robbo came back with more points than city did !! Bedfordshire policeman : Do you know why ive pulled you over ? Originalrobbofox: Erm is it the scarf hanging out the window ? Bedfordshire policeman : Erm no mate , follow me to my car

Methinks the media hasn't quite got their heads round the fact that Leeds are a mediocre club these days. You're right. I've not watched anything of Delph that suggests he's even that good. And Beckford is a fooking moron, they had about 2 minutes left with a free kick, Leeds are pummelling Millwall with attack following attack, and rather than get into the box and score a goal, he picks a fight. It's pathetic. So he scored 34 goals, big deal. His game deeply flawed. The best Leeds players are Snodgrass, Robinson and the guy that got injured. Leeds may have been a big club, but right now, they are pretty mediocre. The most annoying thing about them, and especially the fans, is their arrogance. They genuinely believe they have some right to be in the Champions League, and seem to think them finishing below MK Dons is a huge injustice. Leeds, you played some sketchy football last year, that's why you finished 5th.
flanimal Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 Come on SCUN! They just got to beat Millwall! THEY SCUN IT!
sam_lcfc Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 Come on SCUN!They just got to beat Millwall! THEY SCUN IT! Am I the only one who would rather have Millwall being promoted than S****horpe?! In my opinion they have been better than S****horpe all season (and they were the only team to take 3 points at the Walkers), and out of the four I would take Millwall every time. Interesting club, great away day and lively fans. Its just a bonus that its not Dirty Leeds, Franchise FC or the nothing club that is S****horpe. All my opinion obviously......
