The last two series have been quality. is this the show where you get a couple of lads who are offered and all expenses paid trip to a tourist hot spot like errr Bolivia and £5000 spending money each and then wonder why they are "forced" to carry sh1t loads of cocaine and then claim innocence when they get caught? you get some total ****** on that show but some shocking stories as well!!

Edmund Posted 7 May 2009 Author Posted 7 May 2009 Did anyone catch this last night? Was really good. American guy gets locked up in Venezuela. Only reason why he survives in the prison is because he plays the guitar and becomes one of the gang leaders musician. Amazing thing about this episode is the guard at the airport lets him by because he is paid off but by chance a captain of the police is there and re checks his bags and kablam. The smuggler was the calmest as he was so certain that everyone was paid off and he would be fine. Prisons out there are hell. Gangs run the prisons and everything has to be paid for. Worth watching

The one where the two lads from Leicester get banged up in Venezuela for attempting to smuggle cocaine is quite shocking. The prison they were sent into and the stories they had to tell was fucking terrifying. Interesting program though.
dandannieldanok Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 I remember one vividly from the last series about a lad busting out of jail in Kuwait in 1992 because Iraq invaded them; so ironically, he hypothetically got saved by Saddam Hussein.

The guy was American though. Got falsely accused of shooting two policemen when he was dealing weed on the beach.
