lestatilidie Posted 9 May 2005 Posted 9 May 2005 Which stiker do you think we would have a chance of ? And which ones you think could peform in this league? Lee Trundle anyone? or Bosko Balaban off Villa? Going off the point of strikers? Whose that skillfull Brighton player? Knight or summit, hes worth a purcahse?
Stuliasz Posted 9 May 2005 Posted 9 May 2005 Balaban left Villa ages ago and is playing back in Croatia now I believe for NK Dinamo maybe?
Durnerz Posted 9 May 2005 Posted 9 May 2005 Balaban was crap and wouldnt come here at all, too much money and IMO not worth it.
Leicesterboi Posted 9 May 2005 Posted 9 May 2005 Leon Knight i believe is the brighton player you mentioned. as they stayed up i dont believe he is a realistic target, nice thinking though pal

Leicesterboi Posted 9 May 2005 Posted 9 May 2005 i think he has good goalscoring pedigree and will work the opponents back line like nothing else--dickovesque!
shen Posted 9 May 2005 Posted 9 May 2005 Actually Balaban plays for Club Brugge in Belgium if I'm not mistaken, and is pretty succesful there. He would cost too much money.
Mark Posted 9 May 2005 Posted 9 May 2005 i think he has good goalscoring pedigree and will work the opponents back line like nothing else--dickovesque! 105607[/snapback] His goalscoring record in the Championship is nothing short of abysmal. This season for Brighton - 41 games, 4 goals. He's also their penalty taker isn't he? <_< Couple of seasons ago for Sheffield Wednesday - 27 games, 3 goals. His scoring record in League 1, is very good, just can't seem to hack it in this league. Bit of a attitude problem as well.
