Ruralfox Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 What are you offering? I was cold called on the phone last week by someone called Naz who was trying to sell me this broadband and phone deal. Other season ticket holders must have had similar calls. He was very persuasive. The main selling points were that it was relatively cheap and that it benefitted the football club. I asked specific questions about the provision. He definitely said that it was a LCFC initiative and that there was no other partner and that he was calling from the club and that he worked for the club. I never respond to cold calls but with this one I did and gave him my details. I now regret it. The information he promised has not arrived. I checked with the club and he does not work for them. He lied to me. In fact at first the person I spoke to in advertising and promotions at the club said it was impossible for the club to offer this kind of service but he called me back to say that it was an affiliated company. In fact there is an advert in the West Brom match prgramme I now discover. Has anyone else received a call and how did you respond?
Sir Fynwy Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 SKY Tv, SKY Talk, SKY Broadband. Its the future, ive tasted it SKY is the past, got rid earlier this year and no regrets, can view almost anything I want on TV through the PS3 on streams. Wouldn't pi$$ on Murdoch or his mob if they were on fire, same goes for Branson.

You can't even put the quality of those streams in the same bracket as standard sky let alone sky hd. Obviously you can get by watching it but you can't say it's as good as hd. Not forgetting the surround sound. I wouldn't like to hear a streamed footy match in pro logic.
