leicesterfox86 Posted 15 October 2009 Posted 15 October 2009 What are your thoughts on yet another Premier League club being taken over by foreign owners? This time it is Birmingham and they might have as much as £40m to spend in January! Seems crazy! You now need to buy your way to survival! As for McLeish's future, he seems to think he will get final say on transfers etc, but you have to wonder when new owners come in. Do they want their own man? Interesting times for them! Maybe someone will take a punt on us one day, would you take an unknown foreign investor?

They don't have a goalscorer and aren't as solid as other sides in the bottom half in my view.
syston_fox Posted 15 October 2009 Posted 15 October 2009 For me it's excellent news as I was going to the Birmingham v Man City game and since the take over, ticket prices have been reduced by £17. Got to love the new chairman for that.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 15 October 2009 Posted 15 October 2009 Cash doesn't neccesarily equal success in the Prem. They'll still go down.
JoeyB Posted 15 October 2009 Posted 15 October 2009 I love the fact in the interview they were on about Mcleish job, and they will the manager have chance to prove himself or something. Young said no, then realsied what he said and his interpreter had to tell him the question in chinese

I'm also sure he mentioned billion instead of million when asked about the transfer kitty amount.
