Chairman of the Bored Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 Anyone got a ticket? I managed to get a double and to be honest can't wait to see Pavement again. Utterly brilliant band. Looking forward to see who they can get on the bill. Three days in a Minehead beach hut: my kind of weekend.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 30 October 2009 Author Posted 30 October 2009 The Fall are playing. Quasi, Enablers, Endless Boogie and Faust also signed thus far. S'gonna be interesting methinks.
Part Of The Crowd Posted 30 October 2009 Posted 30 October 2009 I was tempted to get tickets for All Tomorrow's Parties. Don't they have like, 4 festivals spaced out over a year though? So if you can't go to this one there'll be another one.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 31 October 2009 Posted 31 October 2009 Pavement are one of the best bands ever. Shame I can't afford to go and see any one (can't even afford to go and see City play so far this season ) They played The Charlotte once, if I recall correctly, way back when.

I saw them in '95 (I think) at DMU (I think, certainly in Leicester, but not the Charlotte). Supported by Mercury Rev (definitely remeber that bit). Outstanding gig. I know someone with tickets to see Pavement this year. Covet not thy neighbour's ass. <_<
Trav Le Bleu Posted 31 October 2009 Posted 31 October 2009 can you afford Soulsavers with Mark Lanegan at rescue rooms £12.50 17/12/09? Tempting... I'll ask Mrs John Murphy and see what he thinks. Saw Mark Lanegan with Isobel Campbell at Rock City last year - was spine tingling. I'll let you know if we do go.
