Quick Question

Does anyone know when the BBC will announce their last 6 live Championship games :dunno:

They announced 4 pre-season, and the Cardiff-Forest game on now is the last of those 4.

They have 10 games in all, i'm guessing with us been up there in the table now we may be included in at least one of the final 6.

Ian C may know, he's good with this, i've tried looking but can't find anything.

I'm guessing they will be announced ASAP as kick off times etc would have to be changed.

Unless they have already done that 'secretly' but not announced it yet.

Indeed

They have announced all their games up till Xmas

As has been mentioned, their December game will be Newcaslte-Boro, on 20th December, using up their 5th match of the season, (of which three involved Newcastle )

After Xmas the other five will be announced, and hopefully won't be as random as Derby-QPR was last week. Luckily, they will only be able to ram Newcastle down our throats once more, so it should free up some other air time for other teams (yes, they do exist)

It'll be pot luck as to whether we get live. I expect we'll have to be in the hunt for a play-off or promotion race.

I fancy the last day of the season is our best bet. At home to Boro, and both of us could be going into that match needing something for promotion or POs. It's also one of the better looking fixtures that day, though Newcastle do play QPR, and of course there could be any number of permutations in other games looking less attractive at the moment

I'm not sure how they'll announce the games. I suspect they'll either do it one-by-one, giving a month or so's notice, or they will do three, and lhold back two for a later announcement.

Just a case of waiting for them to decide :| But for that last day against Boro... watch this space, BBC or Sky, it might well be live.
