Finchy Posted 1 December 2009 Posted 1 December 2009 BBC Radio 1 playing it in full tonight, anyone listening? Dunno there is something about listening to it on the radio or putting a cd on that makes an album seem so much better and you appreciate how good it is more. Something you lose with iTunes I think, might just be me. But seriously amazing album.
Samilktray Posted 1 December 2009 Posted 1 December 2009 Listened to it last week for the first time in ages. Class.
purpleronnie Posted 1 December 2009 Posted 1 December 2009 Brilliant album, one of the greatest debuts ever.
Samilktray Posted 1 December 2009 Posted 1 December 2009 Shame his next 3 albums all gradually got worse.
Finchy Posted 1 December 2009 Author Posted 1 December 2009 His last 2 have been no where near the same standard, i'll agree with that, but I think A Grand Don't Come For Free was just as good.
purpleronnie Posted 1 December 2009 Posted 1 December 2009 Shame his next 3 albums all gradually got worse. True, it was always going to be hard to come close to the first, have to say I don't really like much of The Streets material after the debut album.
samlcfc Posted 1 December 2009 Posted 1 December 2009 They are playing the clash, london calling tommorow and daft punk, discovery on thursday
General Smuts Posted 3 December 2009 Posted 3 December 2009 He's only made one good song since he stopped the drugs and that was 'Prangin' Out' and that was about stopping the drugs.
