stivesfox Posted 23 January 2010 Posted 23 January 2010 I started the I hate Ryan Mcgiven, this is based upon opinion as a paying fan who goes to home and away games. I feel it a little unfair that the subject was closed as a football fan we all have our own opinion base on players we like players we dislike and we all agree on some points and disagree. Ryan Mcgiven was singled out for poor performance and it hasnt been in just one game, however thats my opinion other people may agree some may disagree. Chat room boards are here for debate and by closing a topic is a bit wrong, opinion is what makes the world go round and what makes message boards interesting. I today have posted postively and negatively, positavely we have nucleaus of a good team, negatively you have to pick the bones out of it and take away the weak links, how my post I hate Mcgiven can be stopped I found the post interesting in the fact it was opening a debate. We dont single out players for the sake of it as one person put, we single them out for poor performance within the team, we single players out for praise for good things. Ryan Mcgiven is a proffesional footballer, out of his depth well paid and I am sure he doesnt visit foxes talk. So being a paying member of going to Leicester City games home and away I am entitled to my opinion, what would you like me to put every saturday night oh well we didnt play well but I love the players I am sorry we want to win and if we lose lets give it our all, I saw Mcgiven on Tv highlights and radio and that was enough for me to make my comments I did.
Finnegan Posted 23 January 2010 Posted 23 January 2010 Constructive opinions and criticism is fine. Starting a thread called I Hate Ryan McGivern with the contents of "Say no more!!!! Taxi to Manchester???" isn't constructive, it's you being a twat. You want to express your concerns about the full back positions then do so in the post-match thread or on the numerous other threads on the forum in which it's relevant. You want to start making hate communities and being a nob, sod off to Facebook. PS: If I have to close another thread of yours because you're being petulant or overly persistent to "have your say" then I've no problem asking Lisa or davieG to hand out a temporary ban until you've, uh, "cooled off." Look around the forum for five minutes. We're perfectly welcoming of new posters but try and learn forum etiquette and get a feel for how the place goes before you start making threads left-right and center, particularly ones that are bound to go down like a lead balloon.
