Maybes Posted 24 March 2010 Posted 24 March 2010 They've been dishing out tickets near the dry dock for ages now haven't they? Was happening a few seasons back when I used to park there until I seen the cretins at work!!
lou Posted 24 March 2010 Posted 24 March 2010 Ok that brings some very old memories so it must be during the Kent crescent era... Mr Smith by any chance? Or Mr Deprose? I used to live on that Estate!! Cheshire Drive is where its at
sw_fox Posted 24 March 2010 Posted 24 March 2010 I've always parked on one of the roads off Saffron lane, no restrictions and a 5 min walk to the Walkers.

John Matrix Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 Regarding the parking at the Dry Dock (the pub that looks like a boat). My friend parked there before the Cardiff game and noticed a traffic warden giving out tickets. When he approached the traffic warden, to ask if he'd be alright parking on the grass, the wardens response was 'yes'. 'As long as your car is parked FULLY on the grass and none of the wheels are touching the pavement.' He then put a ticket on a car which must have been parked a whole 10cm onto the pavement. T**t. Not sure if this is the case for every match day, or if that was just this particular traffic wardens stance on things. yep this is what i've heard. no part can be touching the pavement

You wouldn't be able to get out of Freemen's meadow from there in 2 mins, let alone the Walkers!
