Fez of Mahrez Posted 17 May 2005 Posted 17 May 2005 according to my mate whos a Blades fan. http://www.sufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/...8~665938,00.htm Confirmation.
linekers left peg Posted 17 May 2005 Posted 17 May 2005 CAN'T BELIEVE SHEFFIELD UNITED HAVE GOT NALIS. OF ALL THE MANAGERS IN THE LEAGUE, WARNOCK IS BY FAR THE MOST ANNOYING AND CHILDISH. STILL, IT'S GOOD TO SEE NALIS STILL PLAYING OVER HERE. BY THE WAY, DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW I CAN GET A VIDEO FILE OF NALIS' WONDER VOLLEY AGAINST LEEDS WHEN WE STUFFED THEM 4-0? I NEED TO SEND IT TO A LEEDS FAN I KNOW.... BUT I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO SIGN UP FOR LCFC WORLD OR ANYTHING.
Newcastle_Fox Posted 17 May 2005 Posted 17 May 2005 I thought at the end of this season he was going back to France for family reasons, where did I hear that? Shame he has left though I reckon Levein will be able to find a good replacement. Nalis has been too inconsistent, some good displays some poor. I will always remember when we played Barcelona at the Walkers he was awesome!
Frenzied Posted 17 May 2005 Posted 17 May 2005 He's no great loss to us and no great signing for Sheff Utd. Apart from his inconsistency, he's too old for a midfielder at Championship level, particularly a box-to-box midfielder.
Frenzied Posted 17 May 2005 Posted 17 May 2005 He's not a bad player, or wasn't for us but time isn't on his side. My guess is that he'll just be a fringe player for Sheff Utd, as he was becoming with us.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 17 May 2005 Author Posted 17 May 2005 I never liked him to be frank. He was always better suited to the name Lilian.

"He is the type of midfielder I have been looking to sign since Stuart McCall stopped playing - the right age, the right temperament and I think he'll make us a better team." Still a bit of a shock though - I thought Coventry would have been favourites.

Hughes and Williams would take him apart.
Stuliasz Posted 17 May 2005 Posted 17 May 2005 I'll send regular reports from Sheffield on how he's doing
Chimp Posted 17 May 2005 Posted 17 May 2005 I'll send regular reports from Sheffield on how he's doing 109988 Please do. I expected Nalis to go to a foreign club, anywhere but Wankernock's Sheffield Utd, ffs, what is he thinking?
Durnerz Posted 17 May 2005 Posted 17 May 2005 Gutted, of all the places to go and all the managers to work for he has to pick the worst.......oh well.
Anish Posted 17 May 2005 Posted 17 May 2005 I hope he doesn't come back to haunt us. I think he's still capable of playing well in this division, as he proved again towards the end of the season.
The_Foxes_Legend Posted 17 May 2005 Posted 17 May 2005 Still best of luck to Nalis and hope that he is injured or supesned or not picked when LC play Sheff Utd
Rachel - WCF Posted 17 May 2005 Posted 17 May 2005 really really gutted about this, anyone who knows me knows how much i loved Nalis missing him already i just hope he'll get a good reation when he comes back to the WS i for 1 will be applauding him
Durnerz Posted 17 May 2005 Posted 17 May 2005 I never liked him to be frank. He was always better suited to the name Lilian. 109874 Bet you werent saying that when he scored crackers against Leeds and Cov.

I can honestly say I didn't want him in the team the next week.

I think there were the beginning of some boos, it wasn't full booing or anything but I think people were starting to get a little disgruntled. His set pieces were absolutely awful, but the goal was a MONSTER and more than makes up for anything else he did that day.

I'd say thats more than a good reason to include him in the team that next week.
