I was having a debate with my mates in the pub on Saturday night, and the discussion was centred around whether it is worse to finish 3rd or 7th in the Championship?! We had differing views, so would like to know what you guys think? Which is most damaging to the team/fans? Discuss......
Guest Mee-9 Posted 19 April 2010 Posted 19 April 2010 I think it would be worse to finish 7th, as you know your going to be in the same division for another season. At least if you finish 3rd, your in the playoffs and have a chance of promotion.

dpjfox Posted 19 April 2010 Posted 19 April 2010 wherever we finish weve had a good season (i was hoping for mid table) my thoughts changed when it became apparant we were in with a chance. Part of me says were not ready yet for he Prem, but were in with a shout lets go for it!

The Doctor Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 depends. If you were in 2nd for the whole season then fell into 3rd on the final day then that would probably be worse than finishing 7th in terms of team morale.
