If I hear St. Alan refer to his embarrasing trip to the township once more, as if he had single-handedly solved inter-race tension and poverty in one swoop, I am going to puke.

He acts as if he is the bastard child of Bono & Bob, saving the world through amateur questions. Yes Alan, the world will be saved thanks to you and your tight trousers.

Cvnt.

Thought the way in which he asked the questions was so disrespectful. He didn't look interested to the extent where he looked like he would have preferred to watch that shower of shite from last night all over again.

Hate the guy.

I was wondering how long it would be before someone commented on the highly politicised coverage of the World Cup. It's pure propaganda for a corrupt kleptocracy. Nobody seems to want to ask the obvious question - how comes the economic and social situation is worse now for the black majority in Africa's richest couintry than it was during apartheid?

But every night we are spoon fed another chapter from the life of that hapless dupe of the giant mining corporations, St Nelson (course this aint 'cult of personality' - my fcuking arse). Looking increasingly suspicious and convenient how everything has blown up in the France squad - what FIFA won't sink to to make sure this crappy home nation get through to the knock out phase eh?

No doubt we can look forward to Sally Nugent reprising her provocative lame brain 2006 performance on BBC News ('There's a growing feeling here that Germany really can do it' - cue 1,000 boots going through 1,000 brand new plasma screens down the Legion!) for the 'Rainbow Nation'.

Doubt it - George W Bush left office 18 months ago..

Is it really? Some evidence to back up this claim would be a help. Even if you have any, do you seriously think apartheid should return?:o

Behave - Domenech has been a dead man walking for years. He doesn't need any help from anyone in wrecking the France squad.

Uruguay and Mexico are quite capable of playing out the draw they need to send SA out. Even if they don't, goal difference should ensure they still finish in the top 2 in that group.

And New Labour were kicked out 6 weeks ago. Wake up - the ANC are De Beers' stooges.

Just ask yourself this question sonny - who was it who ignored the AIDS epidemic in South Africa, denied the HIV-AIDS link, and refused to import en masse anti retro virals? Was it PW Botha and FW De Klerk or was it 'Mandiba' and Mbeki? As for Apartheid, it won't be long now before the Azanian black majority will look back nostalgically on Boer rule just as black Zimbabweans look back fondly on the regime of the late Iain Smith (Rhodesia 1966 GDP per capita 80% of UK, Zimbabwe 2010 GDP per capita 4% of UK).

For the record, I didn't support Apartheid but of all the crimes commited against black Africa in the last 60 years it doesn't bear thinking about compared to Biafra, The Congo, Rwanda, Sierra Leone & Liberia, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Somalia, Sudan, Uganda, Angola, Mozambique, Zimbabwe...

The 'Winds of Change' were the worst thing that ever happened to Black Africa.

Tell me, did this 'wrecking' start just before or just after the 2006 World Cup Final?

I sincerely hope that you are right and that FIFA don't feel tempted to 'replay' Italy ('34) West Germany ('54) or Argentina ('78) Remember, these are the ones that are 'out there' in the public domain - there are almost certainly others that we don't know about

I was going to comment on this if I hadn't been avoiding the forum following Friday's result. It was bad enough the BBC trying to guilt us into supporting SA v Uruguay because it was the anniversary of Sharpville ( a: what's that got to do with football? b: why do they care who we support?) Then we have Alan Shearer's in depth expose on poverty in the townships. If I want politics I'll watch Newsnight thank you .Just stick to the football.
