biggs Posted 19 August 2010 Posted 19 August 2010 Quite frankly the answer to that is no....most people on here would be quite happy to see most of that budget swallowed up by getting Emile sodding Heskey back here. Another player to miss the net......people let's dream bigger than EH
OLD norfox Posted 20 August 2010 Posted 20 August 2010 Another player to miss the net......people let's dream bigger than EH Emile for me !!! What he did back in 2002 means a lot for many of us !!!
howsyourfather Posted 20 August 2010 Posted 20 August 2010 i just want to see emile in a city shirt again, when he left i remember looking at the paper thinking he'll be back one day
Sods Posted 20 August 2010 Posted 20 August 2010 i just want to see emile in a city shirt again, when he left i remember looking at the paper thinking he'll be back one day Still got that paper somewhere for some reason we kept it, 'Please don't call me Bruno' is what it said.
howsyourfather Posted 20 August 2010 Posted 20 August 2010 Still got that paper somewhere for some reason we kept it, 'Please don't call me Bruno' is what it said. haha, i'm looking forward to shouting bruno at both emile and berner. I imagine things could get quite confusing, I just hope oliveira doesn't feel left out.
biggs Posted 20 August 2010 Posted 20 August 2010 Emile for me !!! What he did back in 2002 means a lot for many of us !!! Fair enough but that was 8 yrs ago! ......nostalgia is one thing but goals are another and if we take on a forward I'd like to see some youngster with speed and finish
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 20 August 2010 Posted 20 August 2010 Fair enough but that was 8 yrs ago! ......nostalgia is one thing but goals are another and if we take on a forward I'd like to see some youngster with speed and finish Agree to a point, but Emile has been in the England team of late, until he retired. If he was good enough to play in the World Cup, then he is well worth a shout at Championship level.
Callabinho Posted 20 August 2010 Posted 20 August 2010 I do think Heskey is a legend! and he will forever be one of my favourite ever Leicester players! But i don't think he is the player we need! Bellamy will get 20 goals at this level easy, Heskey won't, and i would not want his reputation to be ruined here if he came back and performed poorly! For me we need a playmaker! somebody to spark something out of nothing! its what we miss at the moment! personally i'd like to see Buzsacky or Whittingham! However....A) Warnock wouldn't let us near Buzsacky and B) Whittingham would never play for us whilst both us and Cardiff are in the same league! I would Suggest Chopra, but he would't leave Cardiff now unless we coughed up stupid cash.
ibbosuk Posted 20 August 2010 Posted 20 August 2010 Why are there so many whining, whinging, no hope pessimists on this site compared to the few of us who have a little optimism and hope, with a touch of excitement for what the future might hold. Look at the names of players people want to come to the club - a whole bunch of no hope, go nowhere average nonentities with limited prospects to do anything of note. Has no-one got any imagination of what sort of players we could see at our great club with £10m or even £5m to spend on transfers and wages? Are you a psychiatrist Money is not everything เงิน Money is everything เงิน Money is Power เงิน Is money Kingpower เงิน Are there pills for it this type of thought prossess เงิน
ibbosuk Posted 20 August 2010 Posted 20 August 2010 Heskey Whittingham Some ACE foreign Defensive Midfielder Bellamy (season long loan from Cardiff) 4 = Contentment.
PAULCFC Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 Agree to a point, but Emile has been in the England team of late, until he retired. If he was good enough to play in the World Cup, then he is well worth a shout at Championship level. Hasbeen........in aword!
