Foreign born players playing for England.

If they had qualified to play for England, and truly felt English and would feel proud to represent our nation I would have no problem with that, even if they weren't born here and had forrin parents, I would be happy for them to play.

But I would be embarrassed if we picked players like Arteta because they had never been good enough for their own national side. I don't know if any Scotch, Welshies or Irish feel embarrassed by the number of shit English players that have represented their country over the years.

Anyway, how long before Knockaert qualifies for England?

I would say if a player has either lived in the country since 8 or under, or has a parent/grand parent then they should be eligible, or if they are over 8 they have to have lived here for at least 12 years, just my opinion.
