Simo86 Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 4-4-2 Gallagher went up top, moussa out wide, king and wellens in the middle
milan_foxes Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Lamey Hobbs Morrison Berner DN'G Wellens King Moussa Gallagher Howard I think that's right but Gally might of gone up-top when Kennedy came on.
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Who played where in the first half? I'm assuming Howard on his own up front, N'Guessan/Gallagher as wide forwards and Moussa/Wellens/Moreno in the middle? Did Kennedy play left midfield when he came on?
David Guiza Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 We looked a lot better when Gallagher moved up top I thought. First half there ws no support coming off Howard so anything we did play just came straight back and if we didn't score from a set play we didn't look like scoring at all. I hope Sousa now realises this is how we play best.
davieG Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 I thought it was more Logan Lamey Hobbs Morrison Berner Wellens N'Guesaan------------------------------Kennedy Gallagher > < King Howard
leftsideoverhere Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 I thought it was more Logan Lamey Hobbs Morrison Berner Wellens N'Guesaan------------------------------Kennedy Gallagher > < King Howard Yeah, I did, too, but I kept quiet because everyone was talking about it being 4-4-2. I think it was a more fluid formation than that usually implies.
lildave3 Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Yeah, Gallagher wasn't up top, he was just behind drifting all over the shop. Worked well though.

DNG--Wellens--Moussa--Gally ----------------Moreno--------------- Thats how it looked from where us City fans sat.
