Jimmy Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 seen this on a few forums, apparently he was playing a reserve game for Ajax when he suffered a heart attack. hope he makes a speedy recovery
Joe. Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 This is happening all too regularly. He's only 23, very worrying. Hope he's OK to continue playing, and at least makes a good recovery.
Jimmy Posted 13 September 2010 Author Posted 13 September 2010 with all the medical facilities in modern football its probably 1 of the safer places for it to happen now days
Wymsey Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 Played for Bristol City and scored against us at the Walker's. I wish him a speedy recovery.
Mack Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 I was very impressed by him when Brizzle played us, he looked a real prospect. Heart defects amongst people of African origin is a worrying trend that I have read some research on that suggests it's a genetic issue. Best wishes to Sno for a full recovery and here's hoping he plays again.

I thought Sno, like a lot of black Dutch players (Seedorf, Davids, Rijkaard, Kluivert and of course Mark de Vries to name but a few), have Surinamese heritage?

Alexikokopops Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 and where do you think they arrived from? all down to the slave trade It did strike me as soon as I made the post that he could have been referring to loooooooooooooooooong ancestry rather than recent. A fair point.
