OzFox Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 Scots fail to impress 4-6-0 - the formation does not look right on paper and did not look any better on the football pitch. The sight of Scotland's strikers playing as secondary full-backs is one that did not please the purists. In the bowels of the Synot Tip Arena after Scotland's 1-0 Euro 2012 qualifying defeat by the Czech Republic the hosts' team manager, former Liverpool midfielder Vladimir Smicer, said he remembered playing a Scots team that played "normal" football. Can't say I'm surprised by this. It could be argued he didn't play any recognised strikers at Leicester either... Elvis, Deep Freeze etc
Matt Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 And people say he is a good manager, just unlucky at Leicester....
Alexikokopops Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 And people say he is a good manager, just unlucky at Leicester.... I'd play a 4-6-0 if I had Kenny Miller as my main striker.
