broughtonblue Posted 20 October 2010 Posted 20 October 2010 Saw in another thread that Mark wallington was/is a teacher when he finished playing, I know Jon sammels became a driving instructor when he finished, just wondering what became of some of our other players who weren't fortunate to be playing in this era when even mediocre players can become millionaires these days? I bet they are all pissed off that even championship players are made for life now in their early 30's!

I never had the pleasure (I went to another school in Sleaford) but lavrentis has been taught by him. And I've heard stez has a tale...
Guest Bilo Posted 20 October 2010 Posted 20 October 2010 I found out what Agnew is doing last night. Caretaker manager for Boro, completely bald these days. EDIT: Also, anyone remember this chap? GARLAND, Chris Bristol City, Chelsea, Leicester City, Bristol City. (1966-1982) Has had many jobs outside the game ventures in the fruit-and-veg business and then in the wine trade proved unsuccessful, while a career in insurance ended in redundancy. A gambling problem led to a marriage break-up and bankruptcy. At one stage he was homeless and sleeping rough. Unfortunately suffers from Parkinson's Disease. Sad to see how things have worked out for him since leaving the game.
JoeS Posted 20 October 2010 Posted 20 October 2010 Phil Gilchrist is my games teacher! First team football at ratcliffe college
