I think we'll have a play off push but finish 8th/9th.

No side has ever made the playoffs with so few points after 9 games (Thanks Sousa!)

From the start we've had and the fact we're massively outclassed by the very top teams in the division I'd say we'll be lucky, very lucky to get in the playoffs

I'd say about 8th would be an achievement - although it will feel pretty far from an achievement because everyone including the owners and maybe even the players thinks we'll get promoted, and I wouldn't be totally surprised if we bumble along in the bottom half, taking 1 step forward and 1 step backward until hafway through season when its too late to do anything about it

Not an encouraging stat but there you go, In the last 5 or so years Sunderland and Palace did it, Reading last season although they failed at the last hurdle, it can be done if we start to bring in more premier league players. Goals is the worry for me.

I think the play-offs are a bit beyond us, I'll settle for mid-table, 12th then revamp the squad in the summer.
