Fox You Forest Posted 18 November 2010 Posted 18 November 2010 With the news that we are now potentially after Kirkland, will we be able to sign a striker ANDa goalkeeper? I imagine Ikeme will be going back very soon, just looked at the davie's big thread of dates and his loan runs out on the last day of the loan window, convenient.

hackneyfox Posted 18 November 2010 Posted 18 November 2010 We have 2 goalies on the books and at least 4 strikers. Wouldn't we have a job swinging the emergency angle?
unreachable Posted 18 November 2010 Posted 18 November 2010 We have 2 goalies on the books and at least 4 strikers. Wouldn't we have a job swinging the emergency angle? We already had at least 2 right backs but still signed Naughton. The adjective "Emergency" doesn't seem to mean much - it's (I think) a device invented by the Football League to circumvent the strictness of the Transfer Windows and allow some flexibility in the movement of players. UEFA seem to be troubled by the scheme of Emergency Loans which is particular to the Football League.
